English Nursery Teacher

Union School is currently seeking passionate and experienced English Nursery Teacher to join our bilingual school of excellence Union School Paris. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching young children, be fluent in English, and possess a strong desire to help children learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children 2-4 years old, in line with the EYFS framework

  • Collaborate with specialist teachers to enhance the curriculum and learning experience of children.

  • Collaborate with French-speaking colleagues to ensure a cohesive bilingual curriculum.

  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all children.

  • Assess children’s learning and development, and provide regular feedback to parents and colleagues.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, colleagues, and the wider community.

Requirements

  • A teaching qualification or a diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field

  • Native English speaker and able to speak some French.

  • A minimum of two years of experience teaching young children.

  • Good knowledge or a keen interest in the EYFS framework.

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • An ability to work collaboratively with others in a close pre-school team.
