Union School Academy

Every Wednesday, an anthology of activities to have fun and exercise

As a bilingual School of Excellence, Union School Paris’ priority is to offer children as many experiences as possible. Stimulating, socialising, structuring, exhilarating, it is through these experiences that their incredible cognitive abilities will be multiplied, opening up a multitude of opportunities.

This is why we have designed the Union School Academy: a Wednesday afternoon club that offers children the opportunity to learn while having fun. The workshops offered have been developed with partners who are specialists in early childhood, chosen for their professionalism and caring. Their programme is perfectly in line with the school’s educational philosophy.

Perfectly supervised, the children give free rein to their creativity, unleash their energy, and set out to conquer their multiple talents.

An exceptional and exclusive workshop starting in September 2024!

Coding for little ones in English

1.30 pm to 2.15 pm

Following the adventures of Hayo the robot, children will learn how computers work, create algorithms, program a robot and code in binary, all without using a screen. So how does it work? Thanks to Colori’s fantastic English-speaking presenter, who encourages children to read, imagine, draw and manipulate coding concepts.

Why sign your child up for this screen-free English coding workshop?

Because the world is an eminently technological place, and it’s as essential to master its concepts as it is to know how to read, write or count

Because technology is an integral part of general culture in the 21st century.

Because learning to code helps to develop many other skills: the ability to think abstractly and solve problems, logical reasoning, mathematics, vocabulary, etc.

Because it’s essential to learn this new language.

And because it’s fun!

The qualities of speed, skill, agility and dexterity are all put to good use.

It’s easy to learn, fun to play and accessible from a very young age!

They will start with a 30-minute introduction to Real Tennis on Paris unique, magnificent and historic court.

There’s no doubt that your children will soon be wowing the crowds (one of the 10 French expressions coined at the Jeu de Paume) ! The players will then have 1 hour of squash, a sport that has become extremely popular in the United States and which will be one of the disciplines at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles !
